Lip Balm Workshop 12:30-1:30pm

Come along to our Learning Centre and learn how to make your own lip balm – Matariki day Friday 14 July 2023

Make a day of it with a bee education talk starting at 10:30, then candle workshops at 11am, and this lip balm workshop at 12:30. If you prefer later in the day, we have another candle workshop at 2pm followed by a herbal balm workshop at 3pm.

Making lip balm is an ideal craft for all over 6 years – creative, fun, easy, and safe.

Each attendee will make three lip balms which they can take home.

An opportunity to learn how beeswax is made and used by the bees in the hive.

Parents are welcome as observers or helpers at no extra charge, or can be part of the lip balm making project at the same cost as the children.

Children 6 years and up.

Specials available on the day in our shop to buy lip balm equipment for making more at home.
